Story Slam Niagara
Story Slam Niagara, in association with the 25th anniversary of the 3M Teaching Fellows, will be hosting a storytelling contest at Brock University on Wednesday, November 4th from 7:00pm - 9:00pm in the Glenridge Building, room 201. We welcome all to our stage and our audience, and there is no cost involved. First prize for best story is $100.
We will also be hosting a writing workshop where writers can discuss strategies for effective narratives and test out their ideas. The workshop is scheduled for Wednesday, October 21st from 7:00pm - 9:00pm in Thistle 253. You do not need to attend the workshop to take part in the contest.

CANADIAN AUTHORS IN ACTION - AN EVENING OF POETRY
Oksana Berda, Kris Mills, Katherine Whitehurst and myself will be reading along side award winning Niagara poets, Adam Dickinson, John Barta, Keith Inman, Shelia Laundry, Ron Prickett, and Malcom Matthews at the St. Catharines Public Library.
The reading will take place on Wednesday April 15, 2009, starting at 7:30 pm. There is no cover charge.
